I’m trying to get the Internal rate of return but I don’t have a finance calculator and my graphics calculator’s batteries ran out. I know there are going to be 2 values for IRR since there are multiple changes in the cash flow values. Can anyone help with this plz thanks.!!!!
NPV = -500+(60/(1+IRR))+(90/((1+IRR)^2))+(170/((1+IRR)^3))+(230/((1+IRR)^4))+(205/(1+IRR)^5))+(140/((1+IRR)^6))+(110/((1+IRR)^7))+(70/((1+IRR)^8))-(80/((1+IRR)^9)) = 0.
NPV = -500+(60/(1+IRR))+(90/((1+IRR)^2))+(170/((1+IRR)^3))+(230/((1+IRR)^4))+(205/((1+R)^5))+(140/((1+IRR)^6))+(110/((1+IRR)^7))+(70/((1+IRR)^8))-(80/((1+IRR)^9)) = 0.
I’ve got one answer which is 18.87% but there is another one to this equation. The full equation is on this link:
