November 7th, 2011For my business school project, I would like to create a work flow of the best practices in property management in DC/MD/VA for commercial and residential properties. This would include the steps and form for:
a. taking in a client that is/will be a property owner; and
b. taking in a client that is/will be a property renter.
Trade organizations that I have contacted (BOMA, IREM, and NARPM) do not have any such documentation (or did not want to share with a student). I do not know anyone in the business so I cannot interview a company, as much as I would like to.
Can you help me?

I would like to know what are the specific jobs out there for this major and what is the average pay for someone with a bachelors degree in Business Management? Do you all think this is a good major? What is the job availability? Also, What can I do with a major in Finance? What are the specific jobs for this major, the average pay, and the job availability? Is this a good and lucrative major? Has anyone had a double major in Business Administration and Finance? If so, could I get some feedback? Maybe on the schooling and if it was hard? Any challenging subjects such as in math-statistics,etc.?

September 12th, 2011I’m an undergrad business student trying to select the most marketable/desirable major for employers. Which would you recommend I focus on: Management, Marketing, or Finance?
If it helps:
- I plan to earn my MBA (General Management) 8-10 years from now
- I’d like to work overseas (Europe) after graduation
- I currently own a small business, and intend to invest in more in the future
- I have experience in all these areas, and find the options equally appealing
